Casaurus - a smart and playful dinosaur shaped storage system inspires reading and active play.
Designed by Koichiro Hoshino - for his thesis project at Tokyo University of the Arts the system utilises function and play - with storage for toys and books, a tail-like slide, ladders for climbing, and a reading 'nook' under the dinosaur's belly.
The project shows how functional objects can successfully include playful elements for children's interaction.
