Built as an extension to an existing facility this design takes its inspiration from a story called The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry - the design depicting the part where a boa constrictor is digesting an elephant.
Built in a suburban area near Paris, the design aims to fit in with the surrounding wooden gabled-roof buildings, with its curved and "green" version.
The building was made in a factory and assembled on site in just three days.
Whilst the undulating form of the building is sculpturally beautiful, it still seems to bear little resemblance with the functions (or activities) it houses. The miniature child-sized furniture (table and chairs) seeming much too small for the voluminous space.
